Meeting up with her Befriender has been a great benefit to my daughter.  It has given her time away from the family and time away from thinking about her worries.  It has been a treat to go and eat out, and given her someone to talk about things with.  My daughter and her Befriender have become good friends and that has been great.  It has been good for us as parents to know that she has been getting this support and to share just a little bit of the strain of looking after a teenager going through a very difficult stage in her life.  We are very grateful to D&G Befriending Project for the sensitivity and care that you have given us.
