No stranger to the project, Douglas was a befriender for about 20 years and has helped many young people.  A semi-retired farmer, Douglas will now bring his wide experience and skills to the Board. Doug is a former President of Dalbeattie Rotary Club and a trustee of the Church of Scotland.

Douglas’ hobbies include skiing and curling and he is in the process of completing a unique challenge to climb to the highest peak of all 93 of Scotland’s inhabited islands – and all for charity.
