D&G Befriending project, Group Outing
“Fabulous to have the whole day to spend with my young person – a rare luxury. A chance to get to know her better and create memories.” Feedback from one of our wonderful befrienders who, with 20 other volunteers and young people, braved the inclement weather to spend a day at Barcaple Outdoor Centre, near Twynholm, on Saturday.
Activities including mountain biking, raft building, crate building and the ropes course, allowed the young people to challenge themselves, gain experiences and make new friends in a safe, nurturing environment.
