Seventeen young people and their befrienders enjoyed a lovely summer’s day at Brighouse Bay near Kirkcudbright.
Thanks to “Year of Young Person” funding, Elizabeth Tindall, Freelance Ranger, provided lots of fun activities. Such as rock pool safari, sand-raking and shelter-building. We were spoiled with lovely sunshine and the afternoon tide came in, just in time to enjoy a massive cooling splash-about.
We were also lucky enough to have won the “make a difference day 2018” from our local branches of Bank of Scotland. Employees from our local Bank of Scotland set-up and provided a delicious barbecue feast for everyone.
Many thanks to everyone involved.
