Walking with alpacas
A lovely morning recently for some of our west befriending pairs- walking with alpacas at Sands of Luce Holiday Park, near Sandhead. Young people and their befrienders got the chance to walk along the beach with these beautiful, and very placid, creatures; learn a little about their habits and their South American heritage; and meet and feed some of the other animals at the nearby farm park.
